My Journey...

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Suzanne and I am the founder of SVM Fit Fuel Flow. I am a certified Fitness, Nutrition & Wellness coach, Yoga Instructor and a mom of two amazing young adults. 

 

Embarking on the journey of fitness, nutrition, and yoga has been a transformative experience that has shaped not only my body but also my mind and spirit. It has been a path of discovery, discipline, and growth, rooted in the desire to live a more balanced, healthy, and fulfilling life.

My journey began with a simple desire: to feel better in my own skin. Like many, I started with fitness—going to the gym, experimenting with different types of exercises, and learning what worked for my body. It wasn't long before I realized that physical fitness was just one piece of the puzzle. Nutrition played a critical role in supporting my goals and overall well-being.

Learning about the power of food—not just as fuel but as a source of nourishment—led me to explore the principles of balanced eating. From understanding macronutrients to the importance of hydration and mindful eating, I started incorporating habits that fueled my workouts and improved my energy levels throughout the day.

While fitness and nutrition laid the foundation, discovering yoga took my journey to an entirely new dimension. Yoga opened the door to mindfulness, flexibility, and inner peace. At first, it was a way to stretch and recover from intense workouts, but over time, it became a holistic practice that balanced my body, mind, and spirit.

Through yoga, I learned the importance of breathwork, the connection between movement and mindfulness, and the transformative power of stillness. The practice taught me to listen to my body, respect its limits, and celebrate its capabilities.

Like any journey, this path hasn't been without its challenges. There were times when progress felt slow, when injuries forced me to pause, or when life’s demands made it difficult to stay consistent. But each setback was an opportunity to reflect, recalibrate, and recommit to my goals.

I also learned that balance is key. Overtraining or obsessing over the "perfect" diet could be counterproductive. It was through trial and error that I discovered the value of a sustainable, flexible approach.

Today, fitness, nutrition, and yoga are integral parts of my life. They’re not just activities but practices that anchor my day and enhance my overall well-being. Whether it’s teaching a yoga class, crafting a nourishing meal, or challenging myself with a new workout routine, I’m continually inspired by the endless possibilities for growth and self-improvement.

Looking ahead, my goal is to share this journey with others through my platform, SVM Fit Fuel Flow. By offering classes, resources, and support, I hope to inspire and empower individuals to embark on their own transformative journeys. Together, we can create a community where health and wellness are not just goals but a way of life.
